Space Robbers is 6 year old improv ensemble based at The Playground Theatre. They were formed in 2003 by The Playground’s Incubator Program. They are tight-knit group of veteran improvisers with decades of collective performance experience. Despite busy lives and hectic schedules, a mutual love and respect for each other and their craft keeps them coming back week after week to rob space!
Space Robbers explore characters, relationships, and the goings on of human history in their new show “Time Pilot – a field trip through time”. Each show begins with a suggestion from the audience of a time of day and an era in history. A hilarious piece of historical fiction unfolds in real-time as characters and storylines converge in this new show from the venerable Playground ensemble, Space Robbers.
