Having performed more than 10 years and 800 shows, Inside Vladimir (IV) continues to be one of the longest-running and best-loved ensembles on the Chicago improv scene. IV formed in 1994 at ImprovOlympic (IO), where members of the ensemble studied together under the legendary Del Close. The group headlined for almost five years as a “house team” at IO, where members invented their own musical improvised form “The Drake.” The team performed more than 200 shows before it's first show with the Playground in 1997. Players have appeared at numerous comedy venues across the country, including the New York, Miami and Chicago Improv Festivals.
